Dear Jamaican Women Vendors,

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for all that you do for your communities, culture, and economy. Your hard work, resilience, and determination are truly inspiring and have a signific ant impact on the lives of those around you.

Through your higgling and hustling, you have defied the odds and succeeded in the face of adversity. Your stories are stories of triumph over hardship and a testament to the strength of the human spirit.

I also wanted to acknowledge the legacy of Quasheba and the many other black women leaders who have paved the way for your continued success. Their leadership and activism have shaped Jamaica's political and social landscape and empowered women like you to assert your right to livelihood and dignity.

As you continue to sell your wares and contribute to the vibrancy of Jamaican culture, please know that your hard work and dedication are not going unnoticed. You are valued and appreciated for all that you do.
