Biography
Shantrese Abigail Brown was born in Jamaica in 2001 with a passion for medicine and the human heart. However, she discovered her love for photography while in middle school and pursued it with fervour. After moving to Jamaica in 2016, she graduated from St. Mary High School with exceptional grades and began studying for her Bachelor's in Communication Arts and Technology at the University of Technology in Jamaica. Despite the pandemic's disruptions, Shantrese has continued to capture life's full range of experiences through her work as a funeral photographer. As the youngest of three sisters and a lover of the arts, Shantrese's passion for capturing the beauty in the world through the lens of her camera has become her life's calling.
